How to delete your account
You can delete your account yourself at any time, from the Android app or the website:
- Sign in to the Zoyaz Android app or to app.zoyaz.com.
- Open Settings (on Android: tap More at the bottom, then Settings).
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete forever.
Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
Can't sign in?
If you can't access your account, email support@zoyaz.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify the request and delete the account, usually within 15 days.
What gets deleted
- Your login (email and password)
- Your profile (name, phone)
- Properties, appliances, maintenance tasks and reminders
- Documents and photos you uploaded (receipts, warranties, manuals, insurance policies, inspection reports)
- Receipts & records, including the amounts, categories and dates used for expense reports
- Contractors, remodeling projects, budgets and expenses
- Your agent card and its photo or logo, if you set one up
Any active Zoyaz Paid subscription is cancelled at the same time, so you won't be charged again.
What may be kept
- Payment records held by our payment processor (Stripe), which are required for tax and accounting purposes.
- Transferred properties: if you transferred a property to another Zoyaz user, the records you transferred belong to their account and stay with them.
- Backups: copies in our providers' routine backups expire on their normal schedule.
Delete some of your data without deleting your account
You can delete individual items yourself at any time in the Zoyaz Android app or at app.zoyaz.com. Each item is deleted right away, along with its uploaded files:
- A property and everything in it: Dashboard → tap ⋮ on the property → Delete.
- An appliance: open the appliance → Delete. Its documents and photos are deleted with it.
- A document or photo: open the appliance → Documents → tap the delete icon on the file.
- A receipt or record: Documents → Receipts & Records → tap the delete icon.
- Insurance policies and inspection reports: Documents → tap the delete icon next to the file.
- Maintenance tasks, contractors and remodeling projects: tap the delete icon on the item.
- Your agent card and photo: Settings → Agent card → Remove the photo, or clear all fields and save.
- Your phone number: Settings → Profile Information → clear the field → Save Profile.
If you'd rather we delete specific data for you, email support@zoyaz.com from the email address on your account and tell us what to delete. We'll confirm, usually within 15 days.
