The terms that govern your use of Zoyaz.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Zoyaz, including our website at zoyaz.com and our application at app.zoyaz.com (together, the "Service"), provided by Zoyaz ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using Zoyaz, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
Zoyaz is offered on a freemium basis:
When your trial ends, if you have not upgraded, your account automatically moves to the Free plan. If you were using more properties or appliances than the Free plan allows, that data is not deleted — it's preserved but becomes read-only (or, for appliances beyond the limit, subject to a short grace period before being locked) until you upgrade.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis and are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms.
You may cancel your Zoyaz Paid subscription at any time from Settings via the self-serve billing portal. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period already paid — you'll retain Zoyaz Paid access through the end of that period, after which your account moves to the Free plan.
We do not offer prorated or partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.
You retain ownership of the property information, appliance data, photos, and documents you upload to Zoyaz ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it back to you as necessary to operate the Service — including sending it to our AI processing provider when you use the label scanner or manual finder features, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit, and that it doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights.

Zoyaz's AI label scanner and manual finder use third-party AI processing to extract information from photos and locate manufacturer manuals. These features are provided for convenience and may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect results. You should independently verify any critical information (such as warranty terms or safety specifications) rather than relying solely on AI-extracted data.
We aim to keep Zoyaz available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to Zoyaz or other users. Where practical, we'll provide notice before termination.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zoyaz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles, and any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Michigan.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
